Aashni Thakkar, MA
My name is Aashni and I am an Administrative Assistant here at Luxx Therapy. Through this position, I assist with front desk work such as scheduling, insurance, and guiding clients through any other questions and concerns they may have.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am now continuing my education at Southern Methodist University where I am working to earn my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in order to receive my License in Professional Counseling as well as my License in Marriage and Family Therapy. Through this degree, I hope to work as a therapist for couples and families, with an emphasis on minimizing the stereotype around therapy for underrepresented individuals!
