Hallie Kline, BA

Office manager and Master’s Level Counselor Supervised by Kayle Criswell, LPC

I work with teens 16+, adults, and couples. My approach to therapy and wellness is holistic. I will see you for all of what makes you who you are, versus focusing on one part of you. I believe in the power of the mind and body connection and ways we can incorporate physical and social remedies into healing. My goal is to help my clients feel empowered and capable to reach and maintain their desired goals.

My primary theoretical orientation is Humanistic, and I conceptualize from an Adlerian perspective. Using this approach, I will help you explore important early memories, your family dynamic, and how they contribute to your current connection with the world and others. I will help you identify and become aware of the meaning behind thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I use strength-based approaches that recognize the client's ability to grow and develop problem solving skills and insight. With empathy and genuineness, I will exhibit authenticity in practice. Using an emotionally-focused approach, I am passionate about helping couples identify attachment wounds and different perspectives to enhance their emotional connection.

In a safe, warm, and empowering environment, I will help you unpack past and previous experiences that have led to where you are today. I have interests in working with anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, sexual issues, relationship issues, codependency, and low self-esteem.  I work comfortably with different multicultural issues, existential issues, military issues, and the LGBTQ+ population. I am a body-positive enthusiast and an advocate for breaking the stigma on substance use addictions.

I am currently a graduate student clinician earning my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. I am supervised by Kaylee Criswell, LPC. I earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Texas with dual minors in Criminal Justice and Addiction Studies which focused on the treatment of substance use, and met the criteria for a License in Chemical Dependency Counseling. I also have experience in leading counseling and discussion groups.

I am also the Office Manager here at Luxx Therapy. I enjoy helping new clients get scheduled and answering any questions they have. I believe that inquiring for therapy should be handled with empathy and compassion. I have a passion for making a difference in the experience as I aim to make the process of reaching out for counseling feel easy and comfortable.
