Whether your concern is feeling overwhelmed, sad, alone, or you simply need a place to exhale, I am here to serve you. As a professional, I work with adults, children, adolescents, and parents, to help you navigate through life’s challenges with a compassionate and constructive hand.
I love creating a space where people feel seen and heard. I enjoy encouraging, empowering, and walking alongside clients on their healing journey. My approach to counseling is warm, direct, integrative, and non-judgmental.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from the University of North Texas in Denton. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Cognitive Science from Northwestern University in Illinois. I have been trained in EMDRIA-approved EMDR, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Grief and Loss, TBRI, DBT, CBT, etc., to be able to provide effective trauma-informed and grief-informed interventions tailored to individual needs.
I view counseling as a collaborative journey of self-discovery and growth, that fully begins when clients viscerally feel seen, safe, and understood. I believe in the importance of embracing one’s experiences, emotions, and the totality of who they are and who they love to change. To that end, my aim is to allow clients of a variety of ages, cultures, and backgrounds, to process and explore their reality fully, create connection, hope, meaning, and provide additional tools that can help bridge to healthier thinking, choices, and lifestyles.
Being vulnerable with those closest to you can be hard, much less someone new. I understand that you may feel scared, unsure, or even frustrated about seeking counseling. However, you deserve to give yourself a chance to be in a better place, mentally & spiritually. Scheduling a session can be your first step of a very rewarding journey. Together, we will connect and collaborate to explore your goals, desires, and process lingering difficult traumatic experiences. I am committed to listen and walk with you as you move towards healing. I look forward to meeting you!
